Jim Colquhoun has an exceptional record of management and operational oversight experience, as well as expertise in the design and integration of communications, AV, and broadcast systems. His responsibilities include continuously exploring and leveraging the ever-changing audiovisual industry to develop programs and solutions to expand Avidex’s solution offerings to best fit the needs of our diverse, global customers. Jim drives innovation, technical training, and technology standards across our organization. Jim’s 49-year commitment to the industry includes 30 years of support and collaboration with industry associations to develop industry standards and training programs. Prior to joining Avidex, he was VP of Technical Services for Audio Visual Innovations (AVI) in Tampa, FL., Managing Director for ten MCSi offices, Director of Technical Services for Intellisys Group, and a Senior Manager with Pro Media.
