Avidex provides extensive and on-going training of our technical staff. In addition to ongoing manufacturer training and certification, the Avidex team participates in industry training such as AVIXA's CTS programs and Project Management Institute's PMP certification. This training enables us to truly assess and recommend best industry practices and assures our expertise with all major manufacturing lines when considering options for our clients.
Industry associations provide and document standards for best practices including those registered and managed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc. (BICSI). The Avidex team not only keeps current on these standards but is directly involved in the development, maintenance, and training others on these standards. Being a part of the development of industry standards keeps the Avidex team current.

By knowing the details of these key manufacturer’s equipment, Avidex is able to provide complete support and provide our clients with the confidence that the equipment is installed and maintained properly.
Avidex, as an organization is a Silver level participant with the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (Avixa). This indicates the commitment to the industries preeminent association and the training and standards they provide. Many of our staff also hold Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certifications from Avixa with a significant number also holding advanced certifications for design (CTS-D) and installation (CTS-I). Several Team Members also hold ISF Commercial certification from the Imaging Science Foundation and PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
To be truly competent in the audio visual space requires knowledge of an extremely wide variety of technologies. Our team holds an array of certifications supporting specialized software and hardware. This list is long and varied. Avidex is an AVIXA AV Provider of Excellence, or APEx. The AVIXA APEx program is a recognition program for AV design and integration companies dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to customers.
The AVIXA APEx program recognizes companies based on the number of employees holding key industry certifications, including CTS credential, completion of continuing education classes, and positive customer survey responses. APEx providers must also prove that they meet or exceed the requirements within 2 ANSI/AVIXA standards, the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard, to foster better communication between the AV provider and the client.

Avidex achieved TelePresence Advanced Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. The Advanced-level program's goal is to enable partners to market TelePresence Video endpoints, offer targeted infrastructure solutions, and differentiate themselves based on their breadth of unique AV integration skills.
