Design & Engineering

Involving the Avidex design team early in the process ensures that your AV system will integrate properly within the design space, saving time and money. System design and engineering is a critical beginning step in the success of your audio visual implementation. Every Avidex project, big and small, starts with system design and engineering where all aspects are considered: technical, architectural, environmental, budgetary, workflow, and future expansion.

During the engineering and CAD phase, we take all of the approved concepts and put them onto paper to form the facilities and technical documents required to properly build the AV systems and infrastructure. Understanding how components are integrated and work as a singular, fluid system is what we do best. Our product knowledge allows us to integrate each individual component to a design in the most optimal and efficient manner.

Project Management

Project management is essential for the successful planning, installation, and integration of any audio visual or unified communication solution. Our PMP certified Project Managers follow proven industry standards to oversee your entire project from start to completion, including defining the work, building and managing the implementation plan, managing risk, overseeing project documentation, ensuring the quality of workmanship, and keeping an eye on the daily project metrics to ensure that project completion dates and cut-overs are met. Your dedicated Project Manager will work closely with your project team to deliver your project on time, on budget and to ensure clear communication throughout the life of the project.

Implementation

Avidex implementation teams are among the most competent, dedicated, highly trained professionals in the industry. Avidex is dedicated to ongoing training and certification to keep our teams at the forefront of best practices and technology. Our team holds the highest technology credentials and have years of experience in all aspects of technology integration. In addition, Avidex maintains dedicated fabrication facilities to assure that the AV and UC systems we design are delivered with the highest quality. These facilities give Avidex the ability to stage, pre-test, configure and build complex and large systems in a controlled environment prior to final installation to assure predictable performance. Pre-fabrication ensures smooth engineering and minimizes the risks and timeframes associated with construction and on-site integration.

Programming

Avidex provides control system programming and touch panel design services to operate every critical system used in any of our audio visual experience solutions; no job is too small or too large. From our extensive experience in AV and Unified Communication system design, engineering, installation, and post-installation support, we understand the merging of AV and IT technologies. Avidex programmers are knowledgeable, experienced, and certified. Whether a project is simple or sophisticated, our goal is to provide our client with a system that is user-friendly, state-of-the-art, reliable, intuitive, and adaptable for future upgrades.

Documentation & Training

We work hard to take the intimidation out of audio visual and unified communication systems. Our goal is to ensure that our clients completely understand and will fully benefit from the features and functionality of their AV and UC solutions.

In the Documentation phase, we take all of the approved concepts and specifications and put them to paper in the form of detailed project technical documents. These may include

  • Equipment schedules, Project Reports & Cost Estimates
  • Equipment Operations Manuals

Avidex provides professional systems training classes with the "End-User" audience in mind - executive management, system operators, administrative and technical support, or facilities managers.
